I’m a financial-services operator with a background in structured finance and consumer credit. It is a field where funding mechanics, risk discipline, and regulation have a habit of overruling the strategy deck.

I’ve spent my career building and scaling platforms that depend on careful capital allocation and durable funding. That experience shapes how I look at companies more broadly: incentives change behaviour, the capital structure narrows the available choices, and execution eventually settles the argument.

I use this site to work through questions that deserve more than a social-media post: warehouse funding, governance failures, organisational design, and what changes when AI moves from a tool to part of the operating model. I’m interested in the point where an attractive idea meets a balance sheet, a control framework, or a team expected to deliver it.

The writing is for founders, executives, investors, and operators who want to understand how a business actually holds together. I’d rather make a narrow argument that can be tested than offer a sweeping one that cannot.
