Cookbook is my recipe library for everyday cooking, packed lunches, and desserts. It starts with the groceries I usually buy at Lidl and the appliances already in my kitchen, so choosing a meal also means knowing what I need and how to cook it.

Search works across ingredients, flavour, appliance, theme, and meal, with filters for time, estimated nutrition, and available equipment. A quick-meals view narrows the choice by preparation time, while collections group recipes for different occasions and preferences.

Changing portions updates ingredient quantities, the method, estimated nutrition, copied text, and print output together. Appliance instructions include model-specific settings, capacity limits, and batch guidance. A larger serving count can mean another batch; it does not simply multiply the cooking temperature or cycle time.

Ingredients can be copied as a full list or just the items still needed. A complete meal export includes quantities and estimated macros for Notes or a food tracker. The mobile layout keeps the recipe readable in the kitchen, and an offline text library makes search, portions, and instructions available after a connected visit.

The site is built with Next.js and structured recipe records, with serving illustrations disclosed as AI-generated. I built it to keep the choice of meal, cooking instructions, and quantities in one place, with less recalculation and copying between tools.
