This project records the setup of my 2015 MacBook Air running Omarchy, an Arch Linux-based system with a Hyprland desktop. The machine has a dual-core Intel i5, 8 GB of memory, and a 128 GB SSD. Keeping it useful starts with knowing what is inside it and how the software is configured.

The repository brings together inspected hardware details, software versions, and configuration notes. It records the display, storage, wireless hardware, and battery condition alongside the operating system and desktop setup, giving future maintenance a concrete starting point.

Tailscale provides remote access, with a background service that connects at boot once the encrypted disk is unlocked and networking is available. A separate tray application starts with the desktop. The notes distinguish those two jobs and include verification commands and recovery steps.

The aim is to keep an older laptop usable and its setup understandable. Changes, checks, and anything still unverified are written down so the next adjustment does not depend on remembering the last one.
